Arne Quinze will - in light of his upcoming participation in the 4th edition of the Triennial of Contemporary Art by the Sea - Beaufort04 - assist at a press conference in Cologne, Germany at Flanders House. In this exhibition, that will temporarily transform the Belgian coast into a scene for contemporary art, he will expose a work on the beach of Ostend: a bright red installation called "Rock Strangers". Curator for Beaufort04 and director of Mu.ZEE, Phillip Van den Bossche, will present a preview of the Flemish art summer and the open-air artworks that will be installed along the North Sea. Dirk De Wit (director of BAM, the institute for visual, audiovisual and media art) will talk about the other Visual Arts Flanders 2012 highlights, namely, TRACK, Middelheim Museum 2012, Manifesta 9 and Newtopia - The State of Human Rights.
